Salvation

If you are ready to make a commitment to God. To make Jesus Lord over your life, please keep reading.

First, god loves you deeply. Nothing you have done can change that. He made it so from the beginning of time. God wants to be close to you, but because of the sin in the world we are born separated from Him. This separation is the great problem and God knew what remedied that problem. He came down and died on the cross, He died as sin. He didn’t carry your sin, He became it and was punished for you, in place of you.

1 Peter 2:24 says, “He himself bore our sins’ in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; ‘by his wounds you have been healed.’”

When you choose to accept the gift of salvation, you place the cross in that gap of separation and enter into God’s family as His child!

John 1:12 “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”

Therefore, salvation is simple. Admit you are a sinner in need of the Savior. Turn from sins and towards God for forgiveness. Then, believe that Jesus Christ died in your place and that He rose from the grave and is exalted in heaven. Ask Jesus to now come into your life as Lord and King through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

Dear God, I am a sinner and I want to turn from that life and turn towards You. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son that died for my sins and that He is alive and exalted in heaven. Jesus, I invite you into my heart and give you my life. I trust You, Jesus as my savior and will choose to follow Your ways. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.
